LIGHT WAVE COB LAMP
This is a work lamp design I made for a client in German market. It's inspired from the sound wave speakers. The COB lies in the middle of the front panel, causing a wave shape, like a stone hitting the water. The design is basically clean and minimal. By using aluminium structures, it stands up against tough working environment, and also provide good heat radiation.
1, Inspired from music speaker.
2, Both the front shell and back shell are U shaped, bitten into each other to build the cubic shell.
3, The edge of the front shell is significantly filleted. This is inspired from the front cover of a self-standing, strip shaped speaker. The big fillet shows a strong feeling that the two shells are bitten into each other.
4, The switch and USB connections are located at the bottom of the back shell. When the standing rack spreads out, this is still a widely open area, good for handling with thick gloves.
5, The entire shell are in aluminum alloy. The front shell is in light grey, the back shell is in dark grey.
